livebutterflyservices is operated with love and care. We are proud of where we are, what we produce and how we do it.

Re-introductions of several extinct native species such as the black veined white, Camberwell beauty, large blue and map butterfly have been undertaken successfully. Our loyal customers make this possible.

livebutterflyservices releases well over 10,000 female butterflies into the wild every year due to the over-success of our breeding program.

Butterflies can lay around 200 eggs, the average survival rate for a butterfly egg in the wild is 5% from egg to adult, by providing the optimal environment for butterflies our survival rate is the inverse of that at 95%. This infrastructure facilitates rewilding, release and reintroduction opportunities that help build our brand as well as local biodiversity.
